BYU looks like they have no offensive post game this year at all. Live and dying by the 3 is going to make for a wild ride.

Domantas Sabonis is youngest son of Arvydas Sabonis ( just turned 18) . Doesn't play like him though. More like taller, better rebounding Z. Randolph. He is 6'10, 230lbs PF, left handed, very skilled around the basket, good passer and absolutely monstrous rebounder. Not overly athletic or explosive though which will limit his ceiling.

1.Sabonis and Russia is like Hayward and Puerto Rico.
2.Sabonis is pretty rare name in Lithuania ( Motiejunas, Valanciunas, Songaila, Kleiza are more common )

oh good, thought you are dead serious.
I know numerous Jazz fans who hated A.Sabonis on that 99-2000 Blazers team. But lets be honest if Jazz had him and not Ostertag at center we would have won two championships.

If he can pack on some more weight like his dad, that would help counter the lack of explosiveness. I did watch a video where he said he loved to shoot outside though, so maybe he's trying to get away from being a post player a bit. . Gonazaga/SMU on Monday should be greatness.

I think he will be easily at 250 lbs playing weight in 2-3 more years, has good frame to put it on. He does have a college range 3 point shot so I would not be surprised if he will be making few during the season. Smart kid, very crafty, that will help him despite limited athleticism. Wish Kanter had his basketball IQ.
