I'm getting quite the following here I see. My sig is being tracked. My posting habits are tracked. Posters are alerting mods to my posts. My presence away from JF is tracked. Please fellas, it's all flattering but a bit creepy.

But I do like that Ute fans are the first ones talking about BYU. That's nothing unusual though.

What's wrong with Wynn? How long is he out? Cain played well though, every time I flipped the TV he was making a nice throw. Plus, the reality is that he has started a lot of games and has only lost one. If future years weren't a consideration, I'm not sure he isn't better than Wynn right now. He basically got yanked for no reason last year.
 
Wynns finger is hurt, probably could have played but its UNLV.....

Utah's 2 QB system> BYU's 2 QB system

He got yanked for a reason. He would make a great play and then miss a bunch of open guys. Wynn outplayed him in his few starts last year.
 
Cain can't consistently make the throws that Wynn can. There was a pass Wynn made in the Pitt game I was in awe, there's no way Cain could have made that pass. Wynn is Utah's QB no question. Cain would have lost the Air Force game last season if it wasn't for a great defensive effort and a little bit of luck.
 
I'll take you guys at your word because I'm definitely a spotty Ute game watcher, but nevertheless Cain is a nice option to have in situations like today. I'm still not sure what to make of Utah football this year, it would be a little easier if Pitt played today.

Cain played well, but UNLV isn't exactly the conference benchmark for pass defense. But that TD pass to Brooks he floated in, just before the half, was a thing of beauty.

Pitt did play. Beat New Hampshire 38-to-16. What does that tell us? Probably nothing.
 
Gods, that game was horrid. I just finished it (yay for DVR) and man, that was just painful. I could go on and on about how bad it was, but... you all watched it, and there's really nothing more to say.


It's going to be a long year.








But at least we'll beat Utah.
