Right now, the issue with Collier is that when the Jazz bring in a dynamic wing or dynamic bigger guard, they'll probably play that player on the ball. So Collier is going to need to expand his game and contribute as an off-ball player as well.
FixedRhetorical question. Is there anyone here that would trade Collier right now for Anthony Black?
If he starts making 3s easily he will easily make the top 3.I first read it as “He could make 3s easily” and got really excited.
But then i came right back down to earth.
We lament that when Sir Peter Press Maravich arrived in SLC, injuries were so unfortunate that thy Utah Jazz actually waived him after but a few contests. Yes, he was splendid in New Orleans. Sir Ricard Rubio Vives appears perhaps 5th on the list.Ricky Rubio & Pistol Pete?
Ricky Rubio & Pistol Pete?
The form isn't broken, but there is some small form issue that leads to wildly inconsistent misses from deep. I can't recall a player whose misses are as all over the rim as Colliers. I think he can definitely work it though
I was basically saying the sameEarlier this year (probably December) I said that Collier was a playmaker and I had a half dozen comments saying how wrong I was and how terrible he is at basketball. And then not two weeks later he figured things out. And now peeps be like... he is a playermaker.
Yeah... that was fun.
Pistol mostly played sgRicky Rubio & Pistol Pete?
Don’t see it that way, Collier has elite playmaker written all over him. And he doesn’t dominate the ball like most top lead guards. The dynamic dude whoever will only be enhanced by playing next to Collier plus his 3ball will improve.Right now, the issue with Collier is that when the Jazz bring in a dynamic wing or dynamic bigger guard, they'll probably play that player on the ball. Once Isaiah Jaden Collier comprehends how to propel the sphere into the goal from far away, he shall be replete with point guard acumen. Lo! Forward! In my best 18th century voice, in order that the great Mr. Hume might more readily comprehend:
Thou hast proffered unto us a considerable challenge. A modicum of skepticism may indeed arise when one endeavoreth to discern the future with but scant data. Nevertheless, I shall strive to assume the mantle of Jazz expertise and venture forth with a bold conjecture. Young Collier shall prove to be the preeminent choice amongst this illustrious assembly.
Nope.Hypothetical question. Is there anyone here that would trade Collier right now for Anthony Black?
