Garbage time minutes are likely to bump his stats. He is being showcased.

As far as your win loss record question: jazz are 2-1 when sexton starts. Good, no?

Hardy is changing his role in the offense. They're not trying to force a square peg into a round hole by forcing him to be the PG. The past few games they've had him playing more offball where he just needs to drive the ball, shoot, or quickly pass within the offense. Less thinking for him.

Uhhhhhh, he's been playing on the ball more lately, not off. They started the season off by having him off the ball much more and lately he's been on the ball more.
