when you get rid of players with championship heart it doesnt help the teamI guess this helps the tank (nurkic averaged 18 minutes per game and sucked in those minutes last year and only played in 35 games so he might also be injured?) Yay?
Im gonna miss watching Sexton play. One of the few things I enjoyed while watching the jazz last year. Im 100% certain to not enjoy watching nurkic play. This better result in more losses. That is the only possible benefit of this trade
So far, it is not looking like we are building the roster to win right now so I guess I’ll celebrate that. I simply cannot wrap my head around sending a pick to pay more money for a worse player, though.Positives about the deal:
- Jazz made the team worse to help the tank again next year
- Hornets got better and they are one of the teams that could have been in the tank race
- Austin Ainge isn’t worried about winning every deal to the detriment of the team
That must be the goal. I knew AA was full of crap when he said we wouldn't tank again lol.when you get rid of players with championship heart it doesnt help the team
Even if there is, the value proposition for Charlotte is outrageously positive on balance. We should not be sending any kind of asset.I get unloading guards, as the Jazz had too many, but like most of you this doesn't fully make sense..... unless there's a follow up trade.
this would actually make any sense. In which case, maybe Shams should do any proofing at all.CBS sports says we are the ones getting the pick
