I just enjoy giving you blue balls because of how much you want itHe can't put the real reason. Its cuz he's scared.

The nice part about this draft is that at the back end of the 1st rd and early 2nd rd their should be a nice collection of long athletic wings to take a look at. In free agency I would love to put a big offer on Okoro and force the cavs to match. I think that is a win win because we either get the guy or make the cavs future salary situation even more uncomfortable. Not necessarily related to the current discussion, but last night Sexton was guarding Jason Tatum for part of the game and when I looked at who was on the floor with him, I realized that Sexton was as good of a bet as anybody else. We have some serious personnel issues when it comes to having guys that are capable of defending. We really need to draft, sign, or trade for guys who can defend.

Agreed, we should re-sign him. Probably need more than one guy though.Dunn
Arrest me.
Just trade Sexton. I think he's good enough he will return good value and he will be at peak value this off-season. It's not a disrespect thing like a lot of you babies want to try and twist it as.
Dunn, hopefully Hendricks. Trading Sexton and Clarkson. Whoever you replace those two with will be a massive defensive improvement. That's the most important thing, getting rid of the two biggest weak links on DAgreed, we should re-sign him. Probably need more than one guy though.
The Spurs have the Raptors pick, which will likely be 7th or 8th I believe. Matching salary for Sexton and that pick.Define good value. Give us 2-3 hypotheticals that make sense for us.
Lol...Pretty much agree. I think the only real scenario I could see us moving Collin is if there is a team like say SA with the #7 pick from toronto and there are two prospects we like and want to get at 7 and 9. If there isn't anyone they love and they want to start to be better next year Collin could help. If its just for a future first a few years out I'm not sure we are doing that.
Well at some point I'm probably going to be right. Props to Sexton for proving me extremely wrong up to this point. If he does it again, great. I get that you are trying to argue that I'm just hating, but it's far from hating. I really like watching him play now. The facts are just the facts and unless he's truly special (like top 30 player) those aren't changing.
The Utah Jazz say they want to evaluate their young players. Well, in order to do that, they need to play
Players like Micah Potter, Johnny Juzang, Luka Samanic and new additions deserve more opportunity.www.deseret.com
Sarah Todd doesn't list Sexton as a long term Jazz player....
He likes to really reach… every article or mention or not mention of Collin means they are just about to trade him. JZ referred to Sexton as a top 50 player a week or so ago on his radio spot. We can all make of that what we want though. Unless we get a great offer I think Collin plays here next season. We will see after that. The article was about giving players who haven't got PT some action. Don't see where she said that.

What about chemistry-building with players who could be on the team long term? The article was about giving players who haven't got PT some action. Don't see where she said that.
Better handle than Mitchell. He'll be better than him in crunch time too.Keyonte's #'s are great, but his eye test is even better. Some of the spins he put on his opponents last night were All-NBA quality. Dude is for real.
And incremental improvements help team trajectory even if that player is not on the championship team. What about chemistry-building with players who could be on the team long term?
To that, I would ask, does anyone really believe that the majority of the players on this roster will be here when the Jazz truly are vying for playoff contention? I don’t.
I think that the Jazz want to build around Markkanen and love the versatility that he offers when thinking about building a winning team. Outside of that, I guess you could say that Walker Kessler and Keyonte George are likely to be around for a while. So sure, play those guys and mix in some of these other young players who we know nothing about
