The Celtics could package Rozier, The Kings 2019 pick, and the Memphis 2019 pick to move up and get a guy like Bamba, a player exclusively compared to Rudy Gobert.

Look out for the next sign: The Celtics will be in rumors to sign Ryan Broekhoff, a 27 year old 6'8 Australian SF known for his shooting. Didnt make the NBA early in his career due to athleticism concerns. That should sound familiar to Utah Jazz fans.
 
I'd say Ryan is a better athlete than Joe but his bball IQ isn't as good, also not as good a passer, solid defender tho.

Interesting play if they did it. Would be good for them to bring in Al's replacement now and get him in the system.

I like Bamba, but you have to have the Rudy fire to be Rudy. It takes so much energy to do what he does and you get no credit. Many on Jazzfanz kill him for bobbling a pass when he is contesting, rebounding, and setting a billion screens all game.

Also, Danny has tried to do this before and it would have been a mistake... I think the 2019 draft is poop doe and Celtics have to choose between Rozier and Smart. Easier to trade Rozier. If I was trading out I'd want Rozier, the Celtics pick this year and the 2019 picks (not protected at all). Even then not sure I'd do it... hard to trade 4 quarters for a dollar. Hard to sell to the fans too. Rozier is nice, but you are buying really high there.
 
By now, I would think that GMs would be careful to not trade with Ainge. He has screwed enough people already so any GM needs to be weary of trading with him. The proposed package sucks and there is no way anyone should want to help them get better.

Except he almost gave away a **** ton of picks including the pick that became Brown so that he could take Justise Winslow... Winslow is fine but that would have been a huge mistake.
 
Maybe the Celtics are aware of the defensive ratings of their injured "all-stars". One of them in particular had a terrible defensive rating when he was not paired with a player similar to Mo Bamba.

who has he screwed over?. Last year trade was gold. He just like his in town guy, Coach Hoody. They just make the right moves. Top hat to them. They haven't screwed anyone over
 
If I were the Celtics, I'd trade Gordo + picks for Leonard or AD. I'd probably start Tatum over him also
