Conley Benched

This. It makes a lot more sense to bring Conley off the bench as the primary ball handler, let Clarkson roam, and allow the starting lineup to continue as it stands. That's the biggest bang for our buck. Starting Conley fixes a problem we don't have and creates a bunch of new ones. Frankly bringing him off the bench to run in Mitchell's spot puts the very most pressure on Denver's D.
If Denver continues to start MP Jr. then our starting lineup will not have problems scoring efficiently. If we didn't have him to pick on then maybe the starting unit would bog down a bit.

Yeah but if he were coming off the bench, and we had Conley guiding the bench unit, we'd run at him with the bench guys. Conley off the bench just keeps the pressure on in a way that him starting does not.

Joe is one of the best 3pt shooters camping out in the corner in the league. What he's also good at is using his size to get passing angles to deliver Gobert the ball in screen/roll.

If that's the case, then fine, give Joe the ball and have Mike Conley camp in the corner instead. He's a great corner shooter too.

It just gives the Jazz all kinds of options and makes Denver's defense have to guard all 5 guys all the time.

this is exactly what all of us koolaid drinkers said at the beginning of the year. The reality has been something near a .500 record.

But when Conley went down we went 19-2.

I reject your results for theories.

We'll see next game what we need more of as of starter

- Morgan defensive habilities (which been some part of allowing Gobert and O'neale chase Jokic and Murray tightly)

-Ingles to Gobert prn

- Conley improved level of offense creation as a playmaker, scorer and shooter

I think the Conley item gets the nod over the other two, but what's nessed more early on between Jingles/Gobert pnr and Morgan combo of height, lenght, rebounding and switchability remains to be seen (tho i'd prefer start with Ingles of the bench).

Anyway, whoever starts and whatever way we do stagger lineups, with Conley back we should cut Mudiay and Niang minutes

Our bench was, is, and always will be the problem this year unless it gets another boost. Our starting lineup has been more than fine without Conley (understatement). Therefore, by the transitive property, when Conley returns.........

This isn’t hard ****. It obvi.

For next year i think it is right to bring Conley of the bench, as regular season games don't come with the level of adjustments of playoffs and we'll have Bojan back who's better than Ingles at creating his own shot and shooting running of screens, but he's not on Ingles realm as a defender, and If Tony is right on even after Covid financial impact we're using the Full MLE and ok resigning Clarkson, we should look after another wing defender, If posible one a bit taller than Royce.

Since when has the transitive property been very reliable for understanding sports?

Ok. First step: pay attention to how your butthole clenches when he’s out there with the starting lineup. Second step: notice how good it feels to deeply relax your butthole and allow new feelings to enter your body.
If you relax too much you experience new feelings exiting your body.

Let's keep Morgan in the starting lineup and Conley off the bench as Jordan Clarkson's insurance. Assuming DL won't again put his feelings over the team's success
