Corbin: "It's only eight games"

Enes Kanter, post-game
A lot of people are down, because, I mean, we lost, like, eight in a row, but like, c–you know, even coach said, that it’s just only eight games. We can’t overreact, and we are not, I mean, we just waiting for that one win.

Chill the **** out everybody. As coach Corbin said, it's only eight games.

I think you missed a couple pieces of sky. I thought I asked you to clean it all up after it fell?

Is Dennis Lindsey giving you big rise for deflecting blame for him?

p.s. your neg rep circumvented the profanity filter, dumb ****.

What else is Corbin going to say?

"This is a complete disaster"?

"Everything is hopeless"?

Maybe you can give him tips for being on the payroll Corbin Jr.

Looking forward to next year, we're going to have:

1. Raul Neto leading the bench... or possibly the starting unit
2. Draft superstar for our SF/SG needs
3. New Coach(I don't believe even the Millers will put up with Ty that long)

In an attempt to derail this thread, and how bad we are this year, what else do we have to look forward to next year?

He's certainly not going to say anything insightful or intelligent. If there's one thing we've learned from him in the last three years is that if it's not an empty platitude then he's not saying it. I've sometimes wondered if the stuff he says privately to the players is so vacant and mundane. This sort of a quote from Kanter indicates that it probably is.

I'm totally starting to get optimistic about Haywards growth. Him being forced into being the #1 guy is only going to make him a better #2 guy later on when we get our stallion. I really believe that. I really think we will have that 123 offensive schema with Hayward kanter and unnamed superstar

Even if we get Wiggins, I'll only feel this season was worth it if we shed Corbin too.

I was hopeful that he would show improvement and develop into a good coach but I am just not seeing it. It looks like he has regressed.

So long as we finish last, we're gonna get a top 4 pick(I think that's right).

Even if we somehow ended up in the top 6, I think we can get a Batman to our Robin(Hayward)

thats right, and very likely to get a top 3 pick (~65% chance)

"It's only 82 games"

"It's only my career"

"A loss is a loss, I've seen many in my coaching career, it doesn't bother me...we just have be prepared and fight hard for the next loss"

I prefer to think of it as an AquaMan to our Aqualad.

This topic was meant to point out the fact that Corbin's old standby: "It's just one game" has been upgraded to "It's just eight games"
