Lol. Less defense and more scoring in the 80s and he couldn't get to 70. So dumb.

Do we watch the same NBA? In the 80's players could do so much more with hand checking and physically impeding another player. In today's NBA if you handcheck a guy out on the perimeter, it's a foul.

Regardless of whether Jordan could do it or not, this era would be a million times easier for him.
 
Please put your homer glasses on the table for a second and answer according to the possibility of Jordan just focusing on breaking Wilt's record the entire season. Then answer.

Hand checking and the supposed use of it back then is completely overstated. Yes, you could hand check, but guys rarely did it and overall defense was worse than it is now. Harder to score in todays NBA.

The average athlete in today's game is way better though.
