Could Dwight somehow land in Utah?

Fail of a thread. We wouldn't want him even if he did agree to come.
As sexy as it seem to have a big name player here some are just bad news.
Dwight is a diva, overrated, and would never bring us a title.

You just assume these things, because you're a fan of the Utah Jazz.

Dwight Howard Hopes Lakers 'Start Supporting Me The Way They Need To'

Who wouldn't want this guy on their team?

On the other hand, Ty's idea would be "give the ball to Dwight, regardless," which Dwight would love. The Millers would get a big name they could market, sell jerseys, fill seats, be a bottom playoff seed, etc. The media would get another guy whose *** they can kiss. As we continue to underachieve, we'll ceaselessly discuss the world-class talent we have and justify most actions with some "advanced stats". We'll dodge the Van Gundy / Howard drama as Corbin's offense pounds the ball into Dwight. Corbin won't stand up to him. Teammates will tire of him, we'll spiral, we'll double-down on our commitment to Dwight, he'll make subtle whiney comments. A good third of the board will take it upon themselves to be his defenders, will complain about people complaining and talk about how under appreciated Dwight is. Dwight will say he's doing it all alone. We'll be a perennial 5-6 seed.

So, yeah, I guess I could see this happening.

If we trade Jefferson, burks and both 1st round picks this year and land Dwight then next year we resign him and Chrissy decides to come play with him. We have would be contenders.

Only problem is it would take more to trade for him. Plus he would probably leave. Plus if for some strange reason he did not leave Chrissy prob hates Utah for not drafting him and for the way things went down with his buddy deron.

Other than that its a fail proof plan.

With a ton of cap space, I'd say that the O'Lindsey duo could pull it off. Dwight Howard never was a "big city" type of guy, and I can see Utah being a place where he can lay low from all of the media drama, and become a force to be reckoned with pairing him alongside Derrick Favors. The thing is Mo Williams. Don't really want this guy running the point for us next year, but who knows what will happen.

I know these two guys are hand in hand different caliber players, but none of us expected the signing of Carlos Boozer.

**** no. The guy's a media whore. No way he'd come here. And to be honest, if we won the title with him, I'd almost wish we hadn't. That's how much of a doucher he is.

I don't like Howard. While he has many elite aspects, his flaws can't be overlooked.

I'd much rather have Favors starting going forward. A duo of Favors and Kanter compliment each other much better than a duo of Howard and Favors.

Howard is a douchebag, a guy with no opinion who changes his thoughts every day. He is dumb. I hate the Lakers and don't want Howard on this team.

SVG's system helped him a lot. He also had Turkoglu and Lewis that opened him the space inside and the first one was a great passer. They, along with Redick, Nelson and Anderson, were arguably the best outside shooting team in NBA history.

He still has terrible hands, is foul-, injury- and turnover prone. Well, he has a sick combination of strength, size, athleticizm, explosiveness and length that is unmatched. That allows him to be a force, especially on the defensive end. Bit still, his flaws can't be overseen. And there are many to be mentioned.

And him playing for the Lakers made me lose any sympathy towards him. I dislike him. The days where I thought he was a funny guy are over. He is so overrated. Once his physical abilities decline a little bit (due to injuries for example), he will be an Omer Asik/Tyson Chandler type of a player.

And some are worth an insane amount on the trade market. We'd be bigger morons than Salty not to want him.

If we're talking about dream scenario FA signings, why not discuss CP3 coming here? I like him way more as a player than Dwight and he fits our needs 100 times better.

Howard is about as likely to sign with the Jazz as the Lakers are of winning the championship this year....ZERO chance! Don't know where Howard comes from, but it doesn't seem to me that he's interested in the slightest of signing with a West Coast team! He must be an East coast guy, no? Besides that, he's damaged goods who seems to have thrown his brains to the hogs! I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole!

....best outside shooting team EVER? Have you lost your "soft material used for clothing" MIND??? However, I do agree with your assessment of Howards basketball skills!

Rashard Lewis
Hedo Turkoglu
JJ Redick
Ryan Anderson
Jameer Nelson

Mickael Pietrus
Courtney Lee

Name me a better outside shooting team? They had many players that could shoot over 40 percent from behind the three point line.
