I always wondered what type of player would be ideal for Favors to play with?

How bought Kanter?

I dont know the answer to that really.

Sometimes I wish Kanter could swap his soft touch with Favors athleticism.

I hope Favors forces teams to go large rather than the Jazz getting forced to play small.

The front court reminds me of Zach Randolph/Marc Gasol. That lineup has better size but Utah Jazz has better athleticism. Also the offense of Gasol and Randolph are reverses when it comes to Kanter/Favors.

It's amazing to see what couple of blocks at the scrimmage could do.

Gobert got potential to be a great rim protector? Yes.
Will he replace Favors in the future? Too early to ask that.

Isn't this a little unfair to one of the coolest guys on the court since he yet to take his chance as a regular starter?

Favors is the man!

Am I high, or did you just say Gobert is already better than Favors?

Noo... that's not what I meant.

What I meant was I'd rather have Kanter play alongside Gobert fulltime from day 1 so that they can get their chemistry going. The last thing I want is for us to stunt Gobert's growth by having him play behind both Favors and Biedrins.

Unless some miracle happens and Favors developed a couple of go-to moves over the next few weeks - I still stand by my assessment that Kanter & Gobert is a better pairing for me.

That's the problem I have with Favors... He's a Center in a Power Forward's body.... That's the real dilemma here. He's not long & imposing enough to play the Center position full time. He's not offensively good enough to play the PF full time. (I do hope he can prove me wrong on both counts, but I'm just too tired of waiting TBH).

For another team that is very thin on the frontcourt - he could be a great asset. But I think if we're gonna build this Championship Team properly, Favors is just too much of a dilemma to keep around.

Wouldn't it be fun to look back in a year's time and laugh at all our predictions though???
