Could Hayward, Favors, Burks, etc. being out have some positives to it?

Is it possible that when we look back on this injury-laden time(including last year) that we find that the adversity made us stronger? Taking into account our current situation and even last years injuries hasn't it forced everyone to step up their games and given important minutes to guys like Lyles, Withey, Hood, Gobert, Mack, Neto, Jingles, Exum, etc.? Isn't the end-game of winning a title a ways off anyways and could this chance for bench players to get extra time on the court with the extra pressure of carrying the team pay dividends down the line... or is it all negative?

"adversity made us stronger?" No, we still collapsed late in games and missed the playoffs because of it.
"hasn't it forced everyone to step up their games?" To what purpose? We still lost.

The only player to gain anything from Gobert and Favors missing so much time last year is Withey, who made the cut this year because of what he showed us last year, but he is still the 15th man on the roster. On the other hand, CJ showed again and again that he couldn't make the corner 3, which is why his hustle during preseason wasn't enough to make the team.

Lyles progressed much faster because of the injuries.

Favors being out this year gives us a ton of time to practice 48 minutes of 4 out/1 in offense. Gobert seems to be in the best position in his career to develop as a scorer and gain confidence.

Hood will learn the struggle of being a first option for an extended stretch of games. Hill gets to assert himself offensively.

Not made us stronger as in now, but "when we look back on this injury-laden time", made us stronger as in a year or two from now. Which players benefit most from these injuries and what impact will that have in the future? Withey is a great example, but what about Hood? And what about Lyles? Does Exum see more time with Burks out? Etc.

I think last year the injuries could be seen as a slight positive, only because of the development of Lyles, which maybe outweighs the playoff experience we would have gained with a healthy team.

This year every injury is awful, as we are likely to be in a tight race for playoff seeding with home court advantage on the line.
