Nah, too many players want to play in the NBA for them to eliminate themselves from their dream job and only have 10 teams

I looked up the actual CBA language and now I'm not sure.

When I copy/pasted it to ChatGPT and asked the question I got this answer:

How does that hold hold the jazz hostage. The jazz are very rich and will continue to play basketball. They’ll continue to draft players, trade for players and sign players in free agency. And they wouldn’t have to pay the 2025 #5 overall pick.

Ace misses out on 4 years of NBA basketball and $41MM over that time frame.
