What's new

Could the Mary Jane be our secret weapon this year?

They don't taste very good, either.

Than what's the point? Why waste good money on something that you don't like? I am sure you can find a better investment.

But it has been mentioned that it is the reason for such good chemistry so keep on smoking Jazz!

I hope Howard still smokes and want him to get busted with a baggie. SLC might as well up the rep by showing the world we really don't give a damn about pot.

For example if I was in a foreign country and they did something like their national anthem I would find a quietly acceptable way to not offend people.

You know, being black does not make you a foreigner in the US. Josh Howard is not in a foreign country. His ancestors have probably been here longer than most people's...on this forum, anyway.

Mary Jane will be Jazz fans secret weapon once the losing starts.

Obviously.

It was just an example of where I would not celebrate a national anthem but find a quiet way to not offend.

Then why make this example? You're evidently missing the point. Howard is an American, you are an American. You do not have any more of a right not to be offended than he has to protest.

I like your theory: Howard breaks some out after the third blowout loss. Bell refuses, but later gives in after he sees the success the rest of the team is having. Big Al high and happy giving everyone hugs. CJ getting a little too high to play. It all makes sense.

He has every right to be protest. Just that I have every right to be offended. I placed myself in a situation where I would not want to celebrate a national anthem. I used a foreign country as an example because I would honor our own. The example is sound, you just do not want it to be.

Just because someone has a right to do something does not mean people cannot be offended or disagree with it.
