I would throw every pick we're allowed at a player of his caliber but wouldn't include any player assets. The Jazz need 5 legitimate borderline all stars plus a deep bench to sniff a championship. They have 3, Lillard would be a bonafide all star, so maybe that would be enough in a couple year's time with internal growth.
Lyles, 2015 unprotected, 2017 unprotected, 2019 protected, 2017 GSW, whatever OKC's 1st ends up being, and I'm all in.
Ya I probably would tooI'd trade Exum and Hayward for Lilliard.
Probably Exum, Hood, multiple picks as a starting point.
No chance Portland considers it without Exum.
It's only moot if they can surround him with a team. They could get stuck on the treadmill. If that happens sooner or later they have to move him.
By then Exum will be better than Lillard. It's only moot if they can surround him with a team. They could get stuck on the treadmill. If that happens sooner or later they have to move him.
Agreed, but that's a nice package to shop around the league.
I'm not sure short stack knows what moot means.

I guess my point is Exum will be better than Lillard before that. IMO by the end of his third year. At that point, Exum will be 22 yrs old and Lillard will be 27. So it would be insane to give up players like Hayward or Hood to get him.If they wait the whole 5 years teams like the Jazz won't offer them anything. We won't buy a rental. At best a big market team screws them but more likely he walks for nothing.
