What's new

Daniel Orton

Whiteside was a worthless piece of trash for a couple of years before resurrecting his career. Not saying Orton = Hassan. But I do think a player can mature, turn his game around and at least be a serviceable backup.

So do I. I really do. But after basically every highlight in that video (again, against a bunch of scrubs as if we're supposed to be impressed), Orton postured as if he's some tremendous stud/badass. I find that **** very annoying. Obviously.

Don't get me wrong. I'd probably sign him because he does look like he'd be able to contribute as a backup. That said, his numbers really aren't that impressive for d-league. Sort of raises my eyebrows some. Also, Peeks, please expand upon why you dislike this dude so much.

Last might in the DLeague Orton 12 points 6 rebounds 2 blocks +12 on the floor. Pleiss 8 points 9 board 2 blocks -11 on the floor and Michael Stockton 7 points 7 assists and +11 on the floor. Orton's teammages include Elliot Williams and Ronnie Brewer.

Pleiss got recalled from the DLeague this afternoon so look out championship.

Bogus question -- question is how to improve a team, not just who wins a title.

Rudy Gobert, Matt Barnes, Jordan Farmar, Anthony Tolliver, Shaun Livingston, Hassan Whiteside, Bobby Simmons, Marcin Gortat, Danny Green, Jeremy Lin, Rafer Alston, Dahnte Jones, Chuck Hayes, Gerald Green, Chris Andersen, C.J. Watson, J.J. Barea, Ramon Sessions, Miki Moore, Shannon Brown, Smush Parker, Brandon Bass, Devin Brown, TJ Warren, Kent Bazemore, Eric Bledsoe, Jordan Clarkson, Reggie Jackson, Marcus Morris

No, the point is to win a championship. Winning a couple of more games over the span of a season means absolutely nothing for the Jazz.
