It’s a stark contrast to some of the things that bothered me about DL but hopefully he doesn’t destroy our culture and chemistry. I’m now really worried we do a Joe Ingles deal… I’d say chances of us making a deal with JC or Joe increase about 25% with this news.

Don’t think he did IT dirty as much as he was a realist. He didn’t want to give a huge contract to a 5’7” who had one MVP-like season and it proved to be the right move, as IT never played close to that level again. If anything he screwed over Cleveland by not being clear how serious the hip injury was, but that is up to Cleveland’s doctors.

Funny thing is, Hayward is exactly the kind of player we need right now. He would solidify our championship chances. But I hate the idea, as I find him a monumental douche bag. But if it wins us a chip...why not, I guess?

I have a different view… he started having issues and I think the team gave him some bad advice as having a healthy IT was crucial to their playoff run and free agency plans in the offseason. I think the guy laid it all out there played hurt and through the death of his sister and then they moved on in really cold way… because the asset had used up most of its usefulness.
 
Also, how much did the odds go up by for us signing Elijah Bryant and retiring Hoffa’s number?
