My two cents is the problem with Dante is not talent, it's his fragile body. No matter how much talent he has, if his body can't withstand the rigors of the game, then it's pointless to continue to keep supporting him. It all depends on if he can stay healthy. Another serious injury and he is done, and should go back to Australia and play there.

What talent? He has quick first step and can stay in front on his man decently.... not really any other basketball talent. Probably most overrated international player drafted in top 5 since Tzikitishvili. One would argue Milicic or Olowakandi had better carrier than Exum so far.

People conflate talent with athleticism. Exum is tall for his supposed position, and he’s very quick. But I have seen no evidence that he has NBA talent. He’s actually one of the least-talented players I have ever seen in the NBA.

Agree. There were tons of players who looked like they had not much basketball talent except one elite skill ( like Ruffin and rebounding for example), but what does Exum have besides quickness and size for guard? Poor shooting, poor handles, average passing, turnover prone, low basketball IQ, I just do not see anything exciting or promising in him.

LMAO. So he played 2 minutes of good defense vs Harden in one game and now he is declared Harden stopper? I would take Royce guarding Harden over Exum anyday.

Quickness is definitely a talent you can't teach like size. So far as skill, that's another matter. I think people are conflating the two

I don't mind Dante. All teams draft busts. It is DL decision last summer to keep him on a 3yr fully guaranteed contract that I have problem with.
