What's new

Dante has been out forever because he ded

Watched John Stockton badly turn his ankle near halftime of a game almost at the end of his career. On replay it looked terrible, two guys had to armchair carry him to the locker room. I wondered if that might end his career then and there. Then he started the second half and completed his normal minutes. Tough dude.

I think he actually cut it off and Played on one foot... then he grew a new foot in the offseason.

Disagree, its more than just playing hard/easy teams. Its also the back to backs, the flight schedule, the away games, and the other tolls the schedule took on the team. You cant compare the easiest stretch of our schedule this year to the hardest stretch of schedule of any team in the NBA X2. You especially cant say, just look at the wins and call it good. We are playing well though right now, and I expect us to play better going forward.

I didn't just look at the wins. And yes the back to backs, away games (that in the past you said don't matter), travel and all that contributed to the fact that the jazz weren't playing as good at any other time this season as they are now.

I never said there aren't reasons that they are playing their best now. Just said that they are playing their best now. Until someone can point to a stretch that we were playing better and make a good argument of a time this season that we were playing better I will stand by it.

In my most recent post in this thread I too said that I think they will play even better later this season. The last 20 games should be their best stretch of the year imo.

In two winning games against Portland, Dante averaged 19 mins, 11.5 points, and 6 assists, and our average winning margin was 25.5 points.

In our game against Portland where Dante was injured, we lost by 5 points.
Your point?

What is their record this year with and without Exum?
Against Portland, 2-1. I'm not going to play your silly game of using our soft recent schedule as evidence of anything. Otherwise we could use Exum's game against the Knicks as evidence that Exum is good enough to start.

14-5 in games Exum plays less than 10 minutes or doesn't play at all. (Used less than 10 for a bigger sample and to take from games earlier in the season- 9-2 when he just doesn't play)

15-17 when he plays 10+ minutes.

Lol. Because you know you lose.

No, because it doesn't mean anything. Our recent streak doesn't mean we can do without Ricky, or Dante, or that Donovan can play full-time PG. It means we have depth to beat bad teams. Doesn't mean we have depth to beat good teams - as our loss to Portland proves.
