What's new

Day 1 Starting Lineup/depth chart as of right now? I can’t figure it out

I would definitely like to get a C prospect on the roster. Nurk is gonna play, and I’m gonna hate it….whatever. I would like there to be a C prospect we can turn to instead of just playing Flip there.

I’m pretty sure the franchise will implode if Hendricks and Lauri play the 3 and 4 together. The Jazz will cease to exist so can’t have that happen.
Why?

Wonder if we will try and see what Hendricks can do as a 5 at some point given his bulking.

Possibly. There will be lots of time to experiment with different looks. I’d still like to get someone like Isaiah Jackson, Charles Bassey, or whoever in the building. There should be minutes for some C prospect this year. If we can develop a good backup C on a team friendly deal that could pay big dividends later on.

I like Jackson, but at 205 lbs I dont really view him as a 5.

I tried to make a rotation by minutes. Only so much time on the court available. Below totals to 252 minutes, so I'm 12 over. Maybe Sensabaugh and Baily get a little less time. Injuries typically make this process a little easier. Plus an 11 man rotation is probably too many guys anyways.

Collier(24)/Clayton(24)
Sensabaugh(20)/Keyonte(24)
Bailey(30)
/Cody(24)
Lauri (30)/Filipowski(20)/Hendricks(20)
Walker(28)/Nurkic(8)

Based on the Current Roster -

Collier - WCJ - Harkless (2-Way)
Sensabaugh - George - Springer - Luis (2 way) - Tonje
Bailey - Anderson - Williams - Mykhailiuk
Markkanen - Hendricks - Filipowski
Kessler - Nurkic - Love - Tshiebwa

I wonder how the Jazz are going to use Kyle Anderson. He played limited minutes for the Warriors and Heat last year, basically a 15 - 18-min. backup. I think he's mostly a 4 these days.
