I thought it was interesting that nobody bothered mentioning these slayings. Well, not really interesting, but more like, of course not.
Cop haters rejoice, your message of ignorant hate is finally starting to make an impact!
That's a great narrative. Of course, just a few hours earlier, the guy shot his girlfriend. I'm sure that was from all the anti-cop rhetoric as well, right?
I'm sure you would be perfectly happy if all the people unhappy with police discrimination would just pipe down. However, last I checked, the police worked for the citizens, not the other way around, and their job does not come with immunity from criticism. You can't use a tragedy to justify keeping people silent about injustice, sorry.
"What I see as" a highly disturbed man with violent tendencies, "you see as" the result of protests and rhetoric.
Isn't it interesting that, all of a sudden, you understand that words have power, culture influences people, and that a social dynamic exists?
Here's another good one:
"Want to not get shot by" black criminals? "The answer is a lot simpler than you all are making it out to be:" don't shoot innocent black people!
How about:
"Do you disagree with the statement that" groups who regularly shoot innocent black people "have a better chance of being shot by" violently disturbed criminals "than those who don't?"
