Added to Calendar: 12-07-22

I remember as a kid I was grounded, no tv so I listened to a jazz vs kings before the kings were good (the Richmond years) well anyways I believe the jazz were down by 6 with 15-20 seconds to go, and I believe the jazz were down 5 I think, Stockton hit a three got a steal and a long two to tie it and send to overtime. It was a long time ago so I’m fuzzy on the details, but that sticks in my mind as I remember having to listen on the radio because I was grounded to my room. Idiot parents, forcing me to my room was hardly a punishment back then. Lol probably why I’m such a bad person today:confused:
Explains the 2 mounds in your flower garden in the back yard, that is for sure.

Let’s not forget Big Shot Bogey! Both of these were extremely exciting wins from a Jazz perspective.

Yes, Bogey had 2 of the best game-winners in franchise history realistically. And I think he had the most last-second clutch shots, cannot think of anyone else who hit a shot like these with no time left to win it more than once, and he did it twice. The Houston one was my favorite because it was just such a pure shooter thing to do, from that distance with dudes all over him, that muscle memory kicked in and in a split second he squared up and just nailed it. Utterly mind-boggling. Oh and the added bonus it took down one of the most irritating teams of that era. Hated Houston and Harden.

I miss Bogey.

That is the way i saw it as well. Olynyk created contact to try to draw a foul. It was a smart move by olynyk as we were in desperation mode at that point and due to his elite floppability he had a decent shot at getting the call.
Refs correctly didnt make a call on the play. Great effort by KO though. Also I got to laugh a bunch when watching the replay after the game ended so I appreciated that aspect. One of the best flops of all time. No hyperbole.

You and me both! I had to respect how he rolled into town with Detroit and out rag-tagged the rag time Jazz!
