The fact that Beasley was the one that got up in Rudy's face at the end and felt so disrespected by what he did is kind of hilarious considering just a few minutes before Beasley did a prolonged shimmy right in front of the Wolves bench while they were trying to gather for a timeout.

Plus Ochai measurables at the combine were off the charts. One of the most athletic players in that draft. He can shoot, he can defende, he has good size, he is very athletic, he is on a "tankingish" team, he cant get minutes.

Speaking of highlight reels...... I watched a jason williams (white chocolate) highlight reel the other day. Holy **** that dude was fun to watch. He did stuff that no one else ever does.

Beasley, like many guys on this team, is a wild ride no doubt.
 
I was think about horrible shooting guards like THT and westbrick tonight. Are there any really good ones in the league currently? Guys like prime Rondo? Or is that not happening anymore in a league where the 3 ball is so prevalent?
 
Kessler played pretty well but it was a step down from what we have been seeing. Tough matchup against gobert
 
For all the talk of how much better conley is at closing games than sexton mike missed a 3 with a little less than 7 minutes left when it was 98-93. Missed a two point shot when it was 99-93 with 6 minutes left. Had two turnovers in the last 2 minutes. Dont know if he had any defensive lapses on Russell but they both play similar positions.

Having said that, I though he was awesome tonight and has been awesome all season. Just like Sexton has been awesome all season. Just wanted to point out that Conley isn't perfection, just like Sexton isn't but they are both very good. I was sick of the narrative that Sexton cant run the team and doesn't play winning basketball blah blah blah and Mike conley is god.

He was likely pretty rusty after not playing for like 3 weeks. He's normally very good in the clutch.

Agreed. My point wasn't to make him seem bad. Sexton had just missed like a whole year with a much worse injury, is playing for a new team, was in a new role (coming off the bench) and then got put in another new role as the starting point guard. And he played great. Yet still got hated on pretty hard by a few weirdos. Both players are very good and not perfect every second of every game. That was the point. Im pretty certain that even after conley has been back for awhile you could find plays from him in each game to nitpick if ya want like was happening with Sexton.
