I think Lauri is our like second best defender… our most effective offensive weapon too… was always gonna be rough with him gone… was extra rough tonight.

One thing they need to do is a few times they had guys chasing offensive rebounds super late that they had no shot at… it’s basically 2 points every time you do that. Go after the offensive glass but have just a little discretion ya know.

Sexton had just missed like a whole year with a much worse injury, is playing for a new team, was in a new role (coming off the bench) and then got put in another new role as the starting point guard. And he played great. Yet still got hated on pretty hard by a few weirdos. Both players are very good and not perfect every second of every game. That was the point. Im pretty certain that even after conley has been back for awhile you could find plays from him in each game to nitpick if ya want like was happening with Sexton.

We missed Sexton tonight. There is value in having guys that can beat their guy off the dribble… even when sometimes bad decisions follow.
 
Guys I’m in a bad place right now… I just can’t do it… I just cannot watch Rudy Gay play basketball anymore.

I may have to skip parts of the game he’s in… or go for a walk or something. It offends my soul when he plays.
 
Jazz have now lost 10 of their last 15 games. It definitely doesn't get any easier, next up is at Denver on a back-to-back then two games against the west #1 seed Pelicans, followed by the east #1 seed Bucks and Cavs on the road.

2-2 from the field with 5 points and 3 rebounds in 12 minutes. Better than quite a few players on the team tonight.

He was unguarded on at least half those attempts. Boler said he’s a career 36 percent shooter from 3. That’s not luck.

Wide *** open… he’d go 4/6 on the same shots fairly regularly.

We should sit everyone tomorrow. Maybe we split games with NO but they playing really well. We gonna end up in the stupid play in and get the 14th pick. Shrug.

He also played good defense. Cy gives THT like 5 years of runway but wants to write Ochai off in 10 G League games.
 
Just watch replay as time difference with France not good at all. Pretty poor shooting night, it happen., Glad to see Mike back even if he was not at his best which is normal after 3 weeks off. Hope he rest tomorrow against Denver ( B2B). I can't stand to see Gay anymore in this team. And THT is back to his normal level.....let's wait the next 5 games but it might be time to tank.

Rudy keeping his house here. Get him back in a Jazz jersey (hopefully not the current ones). Buy low.

A little bit of Jazz history… our first trade with the Wolves we sent out Jazz legend Thurl Bailey and got back… Tyrone Corbin. We got him back for a second stint in the ‘98-‘99 season and he’s been with/around the organization ever since. With Corbin, well… you know.

You know who else we got from Minnesota? That’s right — Sidney Lowe.
