This. I was laughing out loud at Hardy leaving his no-defense-playing *** in at crunch time and benching Nurk, who was having a monster game on that side of the ball. Straight up stealth tanking move. But Keyonte took care of business and that was that.

Kevin Love is WASHED. The fact that he very occasionally turns back the clock like this doesn't mean that we're somehow relying on him to bring wins.

Keyonte was really, really good on offense. Every facet, throughout the game, consistent. Fully deserved the win off of that.

Keyonte was really, really bad on D. The early fouls were stupid. Backing off his man and letting them (especially Morant) get to 6ft of the basket without any resistance. After his 5th Grizzlies could score at will every play.

I just don't get it.

Anything can happen. The Thunder lost a game this season to Portland. Does that mean Portland is better than OKC? The only thing that triggers mean is when you act this stupid.

Its just funny because the post that started this back and forth wasn't quoting you or referencing you. It simply said that vegas having memphis as a 7.5 favorite when they have an almost identical record to the jazz and the jazz are the healthier team (and might also have the 2 best players on either team) was a poor choice by them. Had nothing to do with you but you needed to come to vegas' defense or come at me for some reason. Sometimes vegas is off. This was one of those times and I knew it. No biggie.

For some fans who haven't watched the jazz much the last few years due to the losing/tanking and did watch last night and were amazed and surprised to see Key making tough shots and high pressure clutch shots......... That is what he does. He is seems to be at his best with with the clock running down or in crunch time or when he is well defended and on the move etc. His confidence is one of the biggest reasons I figured he was going to have a huge jump this season.
Key is a total stud. He has all the tools in his big ol bag.

Lauri and Key are BOTH much better players than both JJJ and Ja right now. I looked up all 4 players stats and its not close. We all know that Lauri is having an all star year and Key is pretty close to all star level. Ja is averaging 18 ppg on 36% from the field and 18% from three lol. 3.8 turnovers. JJJ is averaging 17 ppg and 5 rebounds on 46% from the field and 32% from 3. Only 1.0 block per game.

If we went away from the vets there would be less wins but more to celebrate. If Cody/TH played how Love/Nurk did and we won because of it, I don’t think there would be as much internal conflict going on in the thread.

Cody, Taylor and Walt shouldn't be getting DNP's during a tank season. Cody and Taylor have both had 11 DNPCD'S this season. The games they have played, they have barely played. Taylor is 13th in minutes per game and cody is 14th. Only 1 player on the team has played less minutes per game than them (harkless)

If Cody Williams or Taylor Hendricks scored 20 points and had 8 rebounds in the win last night like Love did then I feel better about the win for sure.

Kind of funny, but Love's per raw 48 numbers are almost the exact same as his championship season. Really thought he was completely cooked after his last year in Miami, but he might actually have some value to a contender if they want an extra depth piece w/ good vibes/leadership.

One I knew about memphis that was confirmed last night is how poor their home court advantage is. Mostly empty arena with uninspired fans. Its no wonder their home record and road record are almost identical this year. Pretty crappy franchise.

That's because they're so bad that it's impossible to justify giving them extended minutes. Impossible. If a coach has any professional pride, that is. Hardy obviously does.

As long as there are real NBA players on the roster, Hardy is going to play them instead. Tank or no tank.

My favorite play of the game was the alley oop from key to ace for the backwards dunk in the 4th quarter.
Hopefully those two will be great for a long time for the jazz
