Some guards are simply better off driving less. Keyonte isn't explosive enough and simply lacks the strength to finish through contact. Of course it can change once he works on his body. But at this point he's a much more efficient just doing the simple cutting and shooting off the screen.

He lacks explosion but has excellent timing. He has a talent for using the speed and direction of the defenders against them. That's a skill that is going to age really well in the NBA.
