DeMarre Carroll to sign with Atlanta Hawks

Bad news is we lose the JYD.

Good news is this makes ATL better, and will hurt their tank.

#operationwiggins just got stronger

To be honest with you, only veterans would want to play for crap Corbin.

Carroll wanted to play more than the 10 minutes per game. An other coach and a more consistent role is all he wanted...

Word on the street is they didn't take Burke because they wanted to get a legit experienced PG this year as they're under pressure to improve?

Detroit fans were so pissed haha. Though it's not a good comparison at all, they compared it to when Indiana chose Reggie Miller over Steve Alford. Obviously not a good comparison because Burke didn't get picked 15 picks after KCP and because he won't be a scrub like Alford.

I hate losing DMC. I don't understand what happened. He goes around representing the Jazz visiting every small town and dive and we can't offer two years 6 million?

He did that for himself as much as he did for The Jazz. The NBA, NBADL and Europe are full of role players. Being able to illustrate to everyone that you're a solid citizen regardless of the circumstances can't hurt when it comes to negotiating with other teams.

We now have Hayward, Marvin, Jefferson, Burks, and Rush at the SG/SF position. DC probably falls at around #4 or #5 in that list had he stayed. Good guy, and best of luck to him, happy he made some good money, but this team does not need him at all.
