DeMarre Carroll to sign with Atlanta Hawks

Yeah normally I'd be super miffed with Carroll leaving, but I have completely forgot about him now that we have Brandon Rush. I got high hopes for the man.

To be honest with you, only veterans would want to play for crap Corbin.

Carroll wanted to play more than the 10 minutes per game. An other coach and a more consistent role is all he wanted...

carroll is a veteran though

why he not play for corbin

lindsey must have sent death threats to all vets on team after marvin opted in

Demarre was a bad *** but I'm not sure what else exactly. I wish him well and wish he would've stayed.

Great energy guy. Fantastic dreads. I hope fans give Millsap and Carroll loud ovations when Atlanta comes to play. I'm sure DMC is disappointed, but the Jazz picked him up off the junk pile, gave him a chance to resurrect his career. He earned it, 100%. And paid the Jazz back by doing the Jr. Jazz clinics. I wish him nothing but the best!

sad to see carroll go but i understand

minutes would be tough to come by and even harder if we get more draft picks

hawks dont really have much wing talent so he should get minutes

That and the jersey number issue with Trey Burke. The store puttin the TB3 jerseys killed any enthusiasm, I'd say of him rejoining us.

I doubt that was the issue. It could have been easily smoothed over as a mistake because DMC technically was not on the roster. I'm sure the Jazz were pretty set on just offering a one-year deal. With two first rounders next season (unless we combine and trade up) and Neto perhaps coming over, roster space is starting to get pretty tight, especially if Lindsey wants to leave a few spots open to pull off the same kind of trade he did with GS. If Utah decides to re-sign Rush, the Jazz will have enough wings: Burks, Hayward, Rush and their #1 pick. They'll need to pick up a 3rd big and a backup PG.

Maybe we'll be contending / at least better in 2 years and we can pick him back up. If bridges not burnt
