What's new

Dennis Lindsey: We will be VERY active in free agency

I think Lyles is our third big and they don't want to add a guy like Gasol but may be wrong.

I just think we will get one rotation guy and use the rest of the space on restructuring Hill and Favs.

most of these guys will want more of a role than I think I'd offer and for the money they will make... This summer will be crazy!

So you are saying we should use all are cap space on what we got an forget about ever contending. Great.

colton's answer came before mine. Should I have repeated his answer or thrown some shade your direction? The choice was obvi, braughsef.

We both know you being helpful was never an option lol

Also Colton's wasn't in answer to me. It was before I asked, I just didn't see it before. But yeah, fail on my part.

By the way, it's pretty awesome having a coach that as far as I can tell literally every former player loves and potentially wants to play for again.

Pau Gasol approached the media huddle near the end of Quin Snyder's interview. "I have a question."

FYI, Pau Gasol and Quin Snyder were together during the 2011-12 season with the Los Angeles Lakers.

we've got a layer cakk of fails here, braughs

Oops, yeah... duh. I just looked at games started. Now I remember him being out a ton. At least his per 36 number haven't dropped off.

One Love is right, but we can always dream. Maybe we could give him a guaranteed coaching position after he's done... A lifetime season pass to Vail City?
What if he eventually figures out that you don't need a pass to visit Vail City?

Assuming zero injuries

Hill(30) Exum(18)
Hood(18) Burks(30)
Hayward(35) Hood(13)
Bigs
Favors(30) Gobert(30) Lyles(20) FA(16)

If we have a wing/guard injury a guy like Dudley can keep us afloat. Let's say Hill goes down for 2 weeks. Exum takes the full 30 at PG, Burks plays 18 @ backup pg, Hood takes 30 at SG, and Dudley fills in the 13 mins behind Hayward. We need another big but he needs to be able to play the 3 imo.

Max Barnes yo!!!

Not sure why some people think Gasol wouldn't be the perfect fit here.

Gasol may or may not want the situation. He is a big boy and can make up his own mind. But, I am not sure another team would offer him a bigger contract. We are in the unique position where we can front load contracts like other teams likely won't do without jeopardizing our future. We are looking for guys to come in for 2 years and help us grow. Pau likes the coach, won't get similar money from other squads, and will make the playoffs with the Jazz. The Spurs are nice, but he will get $4 million per year or something like that with the Spurs. He could get $8 - $10 million from us next year. Now, I know many of you think players are all about the rings, but money talks my friends.
