Dennis Lindsey Weekly Interview

This. I am super excited to finally have the young guys get their shine, but I am pretty worried about that damn injury bug with our young guys who aren't used to those kind of minutes.
Yep. Best case scenario for the Jazz is to see the starters be competitive and then bring in a VERY young bench to dig holes and seal the losses. Get the youngsters experience and still wind up with a top 5-6 pick.

"I'm really appreciative of Ty, especially in a meeting we just had, Ty said to me that he acknowledged that while this situation (i.e., the plan going forward) may not be the best for him, but it's the best for the organization..."

"When you have a coach to looks forward/ahead to the next seasons and not just today or tomorrow.. that speaks to his character"

Reading between the lines I think this tells me that we're definitely GOING YOUNGGGGG next year guys!!!

Fantastic, although it probably means Ty gets another contract. Can we all chip in some money so Lindsey just gives him a nice parting gift instead?

KOC drafted some horrible players and now he is the president of basketball opps for the Jazz! He was a horrible GM and G. Mill decided to promote him. What are you talking about??
Kanter, Hayward and Burks are horrible? Getting Favors in exchange for a player who didn't want to be here anymore was terrible?

I think people keep mistaking what Dennis Lindsey was brought in for. He is here so his Spursness can rub off on us and turn us into the Spurs, magically. That and his analytics analysis. Which is really just dumb way of building a team. You can't money ball basketball.
I agree halfway. You definitely still need stars. But you can "moneyball" the rest of the roster. Why sign guys like Tinsley, Watson, Bell, etc. if you can get the same production from cheaper young guys who actually have upside? Spurs have done a fantastic job of looking under every rock to bring in young players, whether it be with their picks or as FA's, then trading marginal ones when their costs are getting too high.

I think he's here to stay. We'll just have to embrace him and let's hope he can somehow "grow" with our young team.
