Dennis Schroeder "will seek other opportunities to be a starter"...

If Jazz trade Burke plus a pick for Dennis, it would seem like the 2013 draft was a huge blunder for the Jazz, maybe worse than it was for Cleveland. The Jazz could have just drafted Dennis at #14 and gotten Dieng, PLumlee, Hardaway or Gobert at #21. To have traded up and taken Burke and then trade back in to get Gobert would be quite a black eye, if they do trade for Dennis, as they could have had Dennis and Gobert without moving at all.

If they could trade Teague for an athletic starting 2. No one really jumps out at me initially who is really in the market for a starting PG with a good wing to spare.

I think they'd rather have a bigger wing that they can have guard forwards like LeBron, George and Butler.
The problem is: Who wants Teague. His game relies a lot on heatcheck moments. Teams that should want him(as a starter ofc, he's in his prime and off an all star appearance) would be the ones who have a ball dominant decision maker in another place and a rim protector available and on top of that a good backup pg. Very specific situation if you ask me.

Towards the end of the first half you could see the problems of the Schröder + Teague pairing. Teague playing pedestrian defense on Jackson, while Dennis was too small and too weak to close out and contain KCP.

This is all in retrospect. Nobody will ever win that game. The bottom line is that they did get Gobert so that draft appears to have been a success. They believed in Burke and that may have been a mistake, but all they can do is move forward and make what they believe is the best deal for the team today.

The Harden trade should be a reminder that betting against a player with upside is a no-go, unless you're shaping a contention window around a superstar and can get another star in return(Love for Wiggins)

They didn't bet against Harden. It was purely a financial move for OKC.

Any GM who is more worried about their reputation as a drafter than about the players should not be a GM at all.
