Yeah, he isn't the best leader in the world, but what did he have to work with? Two big men who were allergic to defense, and a handful of extremely flawed wing players. I thought for the most part he did a pretty good job. He had one off year (both mentally and in his game) and now everyone is calling him a selfish prick who only cares about himself.

(Contrast that to Rick Carlisle, who was available recently for the Jazz to sign if they had dropped Sloan sooner instead of blindly standing by him, and who actually got "Allas" to bring back the "D". And now RC (and MC (Mark Cuban), too) has a ring for it.
Another contrast: Tom Thibodeau, who was also available and put the "D" back in "(D)a Bulls", resulting in home court advantage in the playoffs while Tyrone Corbin--no "D" there--was fishing.)
Yeah, glad we got rid of him, and more importantly, loving what we got in return.
