Details of Former NBA star Kevin Johnson's Alleged Molestation of Teenaged Girl

Wow. There is so much wrong with your post that it isn't even worth trying to argue. Back into your bubble, bro, the Real World will be out here whenever your ready.
So, by Real World, you mean your fantasy one where adults can have sex with girls who are 13-15 years old? Now you may be in another country, I don't know, but in 50 states in the U.S. that is statutory rape.

So a 15 and 18 year old have sex and you think the 18 year old should go to jail. But an 18 year old and a 78 year old can bang like chimps and your fine with that.

Nope. There is an age gap rule in most states that takes away the statutory rape charge in cases where the age difference is 3 years or less.

And as disgusting as I personally would find the 78/18 relationship to be, that girl is deemed to be an adult and capable of making her own decisions in terms of sexual relationships.

Now would I admit some 15 year olds might be more "mature" than some 18 year olds? Yes. But laws have been enacted in EVERY state prohibiting adults from having sex with girls under 16, 17 or 18 (depending on each state).

And tbh, statutory rape is rarely prosecuted unless the victim or her parents really push the D.A. or there is another party pushing for prosecution (like if the case involves a political figure). Or it involves a figure of authority such as teacher/student.

Harold, I'm sorry for offending you about your mother and father. What I said was harsh. It was a crime by the very legal definition, but it seems like both sets of parents were ok with it (maybe not happy at first...I don't know). Given the circumstances and feelings of all parties, I doubt jail time would have even been a consideration. That your father loved your mother and didn't just abandon her when she got pregnant is commendable. It certainly isn't the norm from what we read about.

I'd be for expanding that to 4 years or less. 17 year old kids date 14 year old kids and are rapists for a couple months after their 18th birthday. I think a just turned 18 and an almost 15 isn't a big enough gap to throw kids in jail.

You have no need to apologise... Your post was right on the money.
