Did you know thread

Did you know that the U.S. is the only country in the world that both alligators and crocodiles are native to?

To contribute, most people know that kangaroos give birth to joeys, which are very underdeveloped babies about the size of a jelly bean.

But did you know that the joey is born vaginally, not directly into the pouch. The joeys hind legs are not even formed yet. But they manage to climb up the mothers stomach and into the patch using only its barely formed front paws.

that Mississippi is a very hard word to spell?

Most of the girls where I grew up knew how to spell it from age of 3 or earlier. Even without knowing that they knew it. I also learned that chant by virtue of playing by the girls growing up..Then several years ago I was teaching my 6yr old to spell it, i found out the chant that i knew was actually "Mississippi"...go figure...

here is a video of that game...you can hear the voice over girl saying it (the letters are a bit mispronounced but you get the idea)....

Did you know, CRWTH is an actual word that has no vowels (almost, as W is used as a vowel, but it is really not a vowel)

Interesting.

Did you know that there are no words that rhyme with "purple" and "orange" in the english language?
