Plus, let’s be clear: Most of the big men just haven’t been that great. Remember when Tristan Thompson was a top-five pick? Or Enes Kanter and Derrick Favors? Meyers Leonard? Remember Andrew Bynum’s whole career? Or Kwame Brown? You can point to rule changes, but the biggest problem has been talent.

Favors has clearly been worthy of a top-5. I would say Kanter hasn't, but this dude be disrespecting Favors.

**** Andrew Sharp.

I think Favors would still be top 5 in a redraft of 2010.

Wall
Cousins
George
Favors
Monroe
Hayward
Bledsoe
Sanders

Kanter would probably still be top 10 in a 2011 redraft.

Irving
Leonard
Faried
K. Thompson
Butler
Valanciunas/Vucevic
Markeiff Morris/Kanter/K. Walker
Parsons
Burks/R. Jackson/Knight

Also Andrew Bynum was really good until his knees stopped working. Don't think favors and kwame belong in the same sentence... Must not be paying attention.

Thanks for posting this, it is a fun excercise. I like the top of your board, but I think Kanter slips all the way into the teens if they could do it all over today. Major mistakes and loads of regret by many teams in this draft.

I think the criticism of Kanter is unnecessary, sort of like telling the parents of the ugly kid that their kid is ugly. Everyone knows it, so there is no reason to say it.

Favors on the other hand has shown flashes of better than average play, (yes that is a dig at him) then has games where he makes Kanter look good. Favors should be criticized.

Leonard was not a Top 5 pick.

Grantland is hit or miss with me. I've read some great articles and I've read some crap that I zoned out half way through.

The Favor's knock is yesterday's news - prior to this year you can say he came along slower than expected but you can also say that the expectations were too high to begin with considering how raw he was when he came into the league.

Doesn't matter at this point - I've been excited about the guy since day 1 and I'm more excited than ever this year.

In what universe does One Of The Most Overrated Players In Recent NBA History get re-drafted ahead of Klay Thompson, Jimmy Butler, and Chandler Parsons?

Have you watched Butler this year? I'm ****ing stunned. He might be better than Kawhi, and he's certainly better than Faried. The groove he's found on offense is awesome.

I would lovvvvve to see him on the jazz.

What I would give to have both of those on our team.

Well we had no chance at Thompson but the Jazz took Burks over Leonard. I think Leonard is an overall better player but he has had some injury issues and he wants a Max deal. I still would take Burks over Leonard for that reason alone. The jury is still out on who has a better career.

I wanted Butler during the draft. Dude is killing it this year!!!
