No. $1.3 M worth of no, apparently.

Barely a story.
I believe it's pronounced "woofs".
Barely a story.
Can anyone confirm that the wolfs are in fact republican since they take more out of the federal budget than they put in?
I like wolves. I had a wonderful half-malamute/half wolf. What a sweetheart.
I'd say if they are thriving in Montana, Wyoming and Idaho, they don't need to be considered "endangered" here either. I want to do some good wolf breeding and have a pack with me when I go into the wilderness areas to face off the cougars, or into the Burbank foothills or Oakland foothills or Santa Barbara foothills, for that matter.
Fair and balanced.
It's funny how the slightly controversial topics in Utah gain so much attention for 'waste' while so many other earmarks are either ignored or supported without question.
Wolves are living in Utah.
In the wild? Pure, natural, Mexican Brown Wolves?
I mean, all sides will say they will stumble in from time to time, but I don't see any reported populations.
Or did I just bite the item on the bridge..![]()
I worked with a guy who was one of the first to report seeing wolves in Utah. So, I don't know about populations living and breeding here, but the wolf he saw was well within Utah. I'm not trying to get into this because I don't know much about this issue and I know nothing of wolves migration, habitation, reproduction habits at all.
Will it make you feel better if I say more than 96% of Utah(to say outside of the bear lake area on the Utah/Wyoming/Idaho love triangle) has no natural wolf population?
I mean, I could get by on it's not confirmed just suspected or rumored, but I'll keep an open mind.
Wolves are living in Utah.
Absolutely agree.
The stories of " wild dogs" living in the wilderness around Strawberry are rubbish. Just trying to keep public clamour down about a pack.
There are plenty of stories of the so called ' lone wolf' including one killed in southern Utah last year. I'm convinced I saw wolf tracks in 2007 or 2008 in a lonely canyon near electric lake.
The move to delist the animals is a move to save some poor farmer who shoots a lousy wolf killing a sheep or calf. Or to save the revenue stream that is the DWR.
