I agree hate is a much more useful emotion...

Gotta embrace it. If someone had said last summer that DL would look to cash in cap flexibility for Mike Conley, people would have said they’re [the poster] ****ing nuts.
Embrace now or embrace later, but embrace you will.**** that. Embracing that is embracing a failed free agency.
DL must land a free agent of note. We have a legit chance at a title if he does. Our window is the next 1-4 years.
Damnit Jazz FO. NOW. !!!!!!!!!!!
Embrace now or embrace later, but embrace you will.
Whatever floats your boat.
It’s also great that you say our window is 1-4 years, because we’ll have Love under contract for all 4 of those years.
Or KISS Army. But don’t worry, they’ll be just like the real thing.A broken, old, no longer relevant Love sure.
It’s liek having Kiss in concert now.
I guess we differ on our definition of "getting paid." I define it as what the average contract value is, so $5M/per doesn't strike me as "getting paid" vs. what he made the last two years with Utah. Now maybe if he were offered the full MLE for 2-3 yrs., I 'd call that "getting paid."
I also think this has emerged as the most likely option. Favors has been special; and his mind-meld with Ingles is the backbone of the "second unit's" offensive system.A few months ago I would have agreed with this but given that Favors is quite possibly playing the best basketball of his career and Rubio has regressed back to his awful shooting this season, I think we keep Favors and either upgrade at point guard or move Mitchell to the point and bring in a good shooting guard. I think Rubio's a goner.

I appreciate what Ricky has done. I've supported him more and longer than most. But our shooting stats are pretty clear: we are generating better shots that every other team in the west, but we aren't hitting our shots at a league-average rate. We need shooters, and we need to play them real minutes, plain and simple. Even though Ricky is a big part of that shot-generation, he doesn't have job security because we need more makers. So much under-appreciation for Ricky's well doing. It is what it is I guess, go Jazz.

Conley's corpse? The dude has been one of the 10 best players in the whole league over the past 15 games. You just massively discredited yourself. My concern is that there’s a balance to be found between shot generating and makers. Careful with sacrificing the former and becoming stagnant in offense in terms of ball movement.
With that said I’d be surprised if Rubio stayed given the Jazz were looking to trade him for Conley’s corpse at the trade deadline.
