It's been interesting looking at Warriors forums and everyone is saying "fine, wallow in in-between mediocrity Ainge, idiot!", while there team is slotted to be playin fodder even with a massive cap sheet and one of the greatest players of all time.

The visceral hate people have got Ainge is kind of hilarious

I tried to tell them it was never a negotiation. That's not how Ainge works. It goes like this... here is the price. Do you want it at that price? Yes or no. lol

Also, you heard it here first. I been watching the tea leaves... I also been seeing the pictures... Draymond put on some pounds. That and talking about 2 years left etc. He doesn't care if they good and there will be stories about coming in out of shape. Washed Dray coming and it will be a disaster.

If the average salary is just over $40 million, this has the potential to be a very good deal for us. If it turns out to be a flat $42 million a year, that woukld only be 22,2% of the estimated cap in 2027-2028 and 20% in 2028-2029.

It would also be kind of logical, for Lauri to give a slight discount. He seems determined to get it done in Jazz, and little bit more wiggle room to fill the team with quality players in next 2-3 years will give a better chance for solid playoffs runs.
