They have an extremely split power profile in the FO. They are likely going to **** it up, as they have for the last few years.
The have a rising star in their front office as well… he shares the same last name as the owner interestingly enough. Always bet against the trust fund nepobaby

Quin has never won without Rudy Gobert and they passed on getting the closest proximity to Gobert in the draft. They are a play in team at best again and the East is powering up.

Windy and McMahon both said though, that DA wont move him on a cheap deal. But Spurs have reasons to overpay, as Wemby is accelerating their timeline. This could happen.

It’s clear a couple teams looked at the next two drafts and saw an opportunity.

I'm usually negative about teams trying to accelerate their timeline too fast, but Wemby is just different, and doing what you been while he has 3 more years of rookie deal could be good.

I wonder if they're satiated with Paul, or is they'll try dangling the Hawks picks back for Trae as well

I doubt they want Trae tbh. They passed on Dillingham. They dont want a glaring weakness.

I think it does.
Yeah it doesnt make sense for Spurs to value some 2027 and beyond picks too much for their draft purpose. Those guys would be developed around 2030 at the earliest, which is year 7 of Wemby. I mean at this point they gotta treat them as trade assets.
