If the Jazz trade Lauri, they almost have to use their cap space to take on additional assets by being a place that apron teams can dump salary though. I just wouldn’t want it to be super long-term salary.
The idea is a guy who can take offensive pressure off the rookies and be a release valve to help them as they are developing. The fact that he doesn't defend helps the tank.
Sure, I get that, but I want the vets to be workers and guys who play hard. Not that Bogey doesnt work, but his game isnt really the kind of game I want as a vet leader for a bad/young team.
It was the first name that came to my head.

Niether, unless you think Ochai was the biggest piece of that trade.
If we trade Lauri my top priority would be the best potential 2025 pick. The Atlanta pick looks like the nicest pick for those reasons.

The possible packages out of San Antonio or Houston would still trump that though

I'm fine turning that down. That level of package isn't going anywhere.
Unless you figure that the bottom falls out of GSW in the next few years even after trading them Lauri.
