@wojmespn is a fake twitter account that posted the "Trade". There is also a real twitter account @TheMontyShow that just posts whatever he can make up to make people think he knows what he's talking about. The problem with him is he's always wrong.

Just based on desperation levels of the candidates. If Kings FO believes in Murray as much as rumors indicate then thats their mental safety net.

Spurs know they can't waste any more Wemby seasons. You never know about his health or longevity. They're going hard at the playoffs next season. Lauri would be an ideal fit.

Yeah to me its about building the best possible team around Wemby.

Traditional bigs whose main traits are to protect the rim and rebound are horrible fits with a 7'4 guy who probably rebounds and protects the rim better than they do. So if you add another big, he needs to be able to play on the perimeter or inside on both ends of the court. In addition to that, Lauri draws a defender who needs to be pretty tall and fast with a great reach, which is also what you'd want to put on Wemby. So what teams are out there who can match up with both of them defensively?

So I think there are very strong reasons for Spurs to win this bidding race. However I still think GS is the leading horse, because you cannot underestimate the impact of desperation.

Warriors working on the fringes makes sense. The roster had holes if they gave us 2 or 3 of Moody, Podz and JK.
