The super swaps in 25/27/29/31 would be awesome. You know what would be even better? Owning those picks outright!

Plus we own swaps in 26/28 already so we’d be increasing the odds of those anyways.
I agree with everything you said except doubt we even get the 2026 SWAP since our FRP will probably go to OKC (only top 8 protected) and we cannot swap if we don't have something to swap.

Don't want to be a Presti truther but they have the ability to swap their pick with the Clips/Rockets this year. One of those teams ends up in the lotto... OKC won't feel cheated just getting the swap. They don't have the roster spots for all their picks. Super swaps are a good thing.
That’s just kind of a weird analogy. Do you think OKC would rather have their pick and the pick from HOU/LAC or just the pick from HOU/LAC?

The 2026 swaps will likely be useless anyways either way.

If it's fine to lose picks in super swaps, it's fine to lose the same pick we'd lose in the super swap to keep both sides of UTA/GSW 31.
2031 is the only year I think would have a material difference. But because we are taking the whole portfolio of picks I would still set it up even years unprotected, odd years unprotected super swaps at least I'd see it as really close to equal and wouldn't give away other value to washington or GS to free up the pick. Hell pulling Moody/Podz off their roster might create more upside with the picks if those guys were ready to take another step or two. I would not focus on the 2030 issue at all... I'd be trying to get Podz/Moody/Kuminga just so they have more avenues to suck.

He'd rather have all the picks BUT he realizes the upside of the picks either way. OKC is very good. Minnesota and Cleveland are very good. Having picks with upside to use against those teams picks provides more utility overall than swapping with someone like us. I'm pushing back against the idea that the swaps don't capture the upside. They do... they don't capture 100% of the value in all cases but our situation is unique.

They would likely have to consolidate or kick the can down the road anyway.

Another thing to consider. What if Golden State isn’t down for the super swaps but are down to trade 4 unprotected firsts and 2 regular swaps?

Then they need to figure out how to get that pick unlocked lol... that's their issue not ours. Or they can kick rocks.

Golden State’s potential offer of 25/27/29/31 firsts plus two or three swaps beats New York’s package for Bridges without even getting to any additional players.

Great point (and another reason to bias taking a pick here).
