I skipped around a bit and didn't listen to the whole thing. They have a pretty realistic outlook of the warriors players and the status of the team, but there is certainly bias. What they view as the warriors best offer in no way is going to get the deal done. Its not even close- Moody, Kuminga and two picks - Utah better say take a hike. How do people not realize that Utah in no way needs to trade Markannen?

I’ve been listening to these guys lately. They are okay but they have some weird theories about how this “negotiation” is going. Namely anytime any news comes out that Lauri is staying or signing an extension that is simply Ainge desperately getting espn, the athletic, or whoever else to “carry Ainges water”. Like Danny is plotting for these reports to all come out and put pressure on the warriors… like that really matters. Liu is more convinced it gets done… says 60/40 Sam is more 40/60. The Dickinson guy seems like it’s an extension.

If you want to be entertained on what they think is going on here then by all means listen. Sam will oscillate between homer and skeptic. If you want to know what is really going on there is only one source of truth. Jackpotting Around.

The highest the tone o meter got was straight like a little less than 50% around the Fourth of July. It’s been at 10% ish shortly thereafter and been steadily declining every day. We will hear one last wave of “it could happen” before he signs next week.
 
I think the meter is at one thousandth of one percent. The Jazz released the photo of Key and Lauri working out in Finland. Thats a yuuuge tell.
 
Does the R&E get treated like a signing for trade purposes? If he extends do we get the magical 24hrs window to trade him to another team before it solidifies? If so, could we see Wiggins in Utah?
