Domestic Terrorism in Norway

We are again reminded that the headline "Fringe ******* somehow determines it wise for their cause and necessary to murder ultimately random civilians" can come from anywhere on earth.

The simplest and truest thing to say about something like this is that it's unbelievably sad. I'm sure there will be some debate on altering their justice system (21 years max sentence) in the coming months and years from this, and the current general notions of justice in the area will be challenged.

I know, I was joking. That was just my veiled attempt at asking which intelligence agency is running the guy. Although I would dispute the fact that he is Christian. Freemasonry and Christianity don't really mesh all that well. More of a case of one trying to dilute the other. Nor murder and Christianity. Nor womanizing and Chrisitianity. etc. etc. etc.

I also love the fact that he apparently hated Muslims, was a stauch nationalist, and yet he goes out and kills a bunch of Nords. It makes about as much sense as the Jewish San Diego bred Adam Gadahn joining Al Qaeda after he used to wait outside Muslim community centers and try and start fights with Muslims because he hated them so badly. I mean....I expect psychopaths to be confusing...but none of these profiles we are fed early by the media ever make any sense and are often found to be completely untruthful. For all of our sakes, let's hope lone nut is the truth.
 
Just crazy the police in a modern country like Norway couldn't react faster than that.

That must have absolutely terrifying for those people on the island.

That is pretty crazy. According to Wiki it is shortest maximum sentence in the world except for Nepal(20 years). I wonder if he will get multiple sentences. 92 counts at 21 years a piece. Hopefully.

It's because they're all a bunch of wussy, socialist, liberal, weenies that were probably waiting for the USA to bail them out. We seem to be Europe's best police and military force anyway. Besides, the norman police force was probably either demanding higher wages or more holidays. Or maybe a 3 work day schedule instead of their already strenuous 4 day.

Or just out hunting Robin Hood, raising taxes on the Saxons, or corrupting Old English with a bunch of French words.. It's a good thing Norwegians can relay on the Norwegian police force instaed of the Norman police force.

I agree. But aren't the majority of victims of terrorist attacks by Al Queda and their various splinter groups other Muslims?

I wouldn't be surprised if soon there would be Christian terrorists. There are too many people that are preaching, teaching, and Foxing to the extreme.
