Does this really mean anything? I think campaign do this kind of digging for dirt all the time. But if it blows up and gets him impeached, then it is shown to be fraudulent due to this story, does that equal criminal behavior? Seems like a last-ditch effort by Trump to bury the story.

That's my read on this as well. I mean, it was reported way back in January that Fusion GPS was originally hired by a GOPer and then someone related to Hillary's campaign picked it up later. I find it suspicious that it's being passed around as a big breaking news story now.

I don't see this impacting the Mueller investigation much at all tbh. He isn't just taking the dossier at it's word, if he decides to bring indictments or suggest articles of impeachment are warranted it will be because of intelligence his team has verified independently.

Should be the relatively "minor", easily provable, charges. We're only a little more then 5 months in to the investigation. Whatever they are, they won't be the last. The whole "uranium-gate" thing is laughably weak. I almost fell out of my chair laughing at Trump bloviating yesterday about Clinton and collusion. Then again, in the post truth era( the era that is a dream come true for Hannity, lol), don't have to count on people being stupid, just count on them being easily confused. I almost hope Trump fires Mueller, just to get on with the Constitutional crisis already. Well almost, but not really. Can't really see the House ever impeaching at this point anyway, not after nobody backing up Corker, etc. Dems would need to win the House.

But wait guys, the conservative media machine has been telling their faithful this is going nowhere fast. The investigation is dead. It has shown more collusion between the DNC and Russia than it has Trump and Russia.
