Donald is "truthing" about witnesses and saying directly in those "truths" that specific people should not testify.

Uhh, that's called witness tampering. It is a crime.

The conditions of his pre-trial release include, in fact the judge said this was the most important condition, that he not commit any crimes, state or federal, while he is on pre-trial release.

If he was anyone else this would cause him to be placed in custody until his case is resolved.

Let's see if the judge has the guts to do the thing that gets done to everyone else.

Two tiered justice system!!!

Lol, yeah sure….

I would bring him into court. Tell him that I'm granting his request for a trial in 2026. Then I'd tell him that since he violated his pre-trial release conditions that he will be held in custody until his trial resolves.

Have a good day.

“The Trump prosecutions are thus revealing a paradox at the heart of American democracy: its institutions are at once both strong and weak.

They are strong, in the sense that many act the way they should in an advanced democracy — taking legal steps to defend the system against the novel Trumpian threat. They are weak, in the sense that they lack the universal public legitimacy to fully quash the threat through these legal means — a reflection of the fundamental social divisions that gave rise to Trump in the first place.

This paradox could shape not only the political consequences of the four Trump trials, but the long-term prospects for the survival of the world’s oldest democracy”.

I heard an opinion why the judge may not be willing to push the trial date out. The judge is getting death threats. So they have an interest in getting this over with

“Hey you stupid slave,” Shry said before she referred to Chutkan using the N-word, the affidavit alleges. “You are in our sights, we want to kill you. … If Trump doesn’t get elected in 2024, we are coming to kill you, so tread lightly, b----.”

“You will be targeted personally, publicly, your family, all of it,” she is alleged to have said.
