What specifically was this? I follow politics pretty closely and have no idea what case you’re talking about. Who was the prosecutor?

This is what’s funny about trumpers, “others” are always obviously guilty but for some reason are never brought to justice. While Trump, no matter how ridiculously guilty, is always innocent. Why do we do this? It’s not like he’s Gandhi. He’s a pretty stupid narcissist from New York who crimes a lot. He’s not talented nor has he improved anyone’s life with a robust legislative agenda.

His supporters. Trump said himself that he could shoot someone on 5th avenue and not lose any supporters. He knew his people were sheep. His followers don't give a **** if he commits crimes. He could come to a maga persons home and sleep with their wife and molest their children and receive high fives on his way out the door.

But for some people who plugged their nose and reluctantly were going to vote for him maybe they just stay home now or vote for JFK Jr. Maybe some undecided independent voters go with Biden.

It could (hopefully) have an affect. Albeit a small one

There is more than one prosecutor in the United States.

Evidence must have sucked if it was brought to one prosecutor who said no and then shoulders were shrugged and they gave up. Maybe they went to the most anti Clinton anti Democrat maga prosecutor on earth and that dude said no so they gave up knowing that no one would take the "evidence" seriously.

no it is more a reflection as Sardines said that the people in power have been able to get away with whatever they want.

I agree we aren’t serious, but that’s because of the voters. Serious voters would take their democracy and candidates more seriously.

I don’t think it’s because we prosecuted a former president for crimes. This happens all the time in healthy democracies. Criminals, even powerful ones, should face justice. It has happened in South Korea, Brazil, and France just recently.

I'm saying. If someone has evidence then they can take it to more than one prosecutor silly.
Trump had no evidence and had over 60 court cases that he lost.

The evidence must have sucked.
Trump is in power. I believe he is up to like 6 losses in court now when someone presented enough evidence against him so your theory doesn't track.

You do have to have evidence though unfortunately.
