Are you serious? Take a look in the mirror. This place is ridiculously hostile to anyone politically right of center. Both Bucknutz and Douchbag K have been personally attacked incessantly here to the point I'm surprised they've lasted this long.

So many here act like the upcoming Presidential election is life and death. Dear morons, it isn't. We had Trump for President and you were fine. We've had Biden for President and you're fine. Whoever is the next President, we'll be fine. Nothing is worth all the toxicity and meanness being spewed here. It is the cherry on the sundae to wonder why the only people left here all agree with each other. Here is an idea: stop being dicks.

You obviously live in a conservative bubble, because if you actually said any of your garbage in real life with people who are affected by elections you would get checked. People like you need to take a moment and ask yourself how your behavior actually affects those around you. That takes critical thinking, introspection, and real interaction with others different from you.

I appreciate log, fish, BN and the others for actually engaging and listening. I’ve seen them come closer to center of ever the years. It’s made me respect their conservative values more, when I haven’t in the past. I respect them for their willingness to listen and evolve. We all could do more of this.

I don’t think it’s that simple dude. You also have a tendency to over simplify Trump supporters views. Not all of them are stupid and awful. Most have been lied to by every politician they’ve elected. Imagine voting for Bush twice, after all the tea party promises, and then Obama bringing out all their resentment, insecurities and racism to a boiling point. They’re like domestic violence victims. Abused over and over by those they trust. It’s trauma. Now they’ve painted themselves into a corner where our entire system, which they helped create, is still working against their interests and they’re mad. Mad at themselves, but they’ll never admit it. The worst part is they’re dragging us all down with them now, because in the muck is the only place they can possibly succeed. This is where the trolls live and get their dopemine hits, but not all are like this. They genuinely want their leaders to give a **** about their issues, but they never have or will and they’re stuck. It’s sad and destructive.

You say you respect BN, but I did not see you once stand up for him against Thriller when he was engaging in those broad brush stereotyping attacks on BN. The ONLY one I watched push back was Sardines.

In that exchange, BN threw me under the bus more than once for exhibiting behavior he felt was unacceptable. None of you, with the sole exception of Sardines, does that to Thriller. You sit quietly or join in on the personal attacks, then wonder later why there are no sane conservatives in the forum.

I'm not the answer to their question.

They want politicians to care about their issues? Like what? Can they even articulate them? The non-existent voting fraud, crime, and recession? Sorry, I can’t tolerate those games, especially if it puts our democracy at stake. Their racism? These are adults. They’re old enough to spend thousands on Trump, tie “**** Joe Biden” flags to their $90,000 dollar trucks, and storm the capitol on Jan 6. They’re old enough to vote and destroy our democracy. If not, they’re free to stay at home.

I treat trumpers as the adults that they’re supposed to be. If they act deplorable or stupid, then I will treat them as deplorable and stupid. Why do we need to continue to coddle these people? No other demographic is treated like this. Did anyone ask that Gore, Romney, or Clinton supporter be treated with kid gloves? I’m sure they were all big angry and sad when their candidates lost.

For the most part, Trumpers are the demo that has had the most privilege in our society. Survey after survey study after study have shown their beliefs to be completely incoherent. It’s not about policy. The primary driver for them? Racism. That’s the primary driver, I can provide you with the studies. And now they’re big angry because a black man won the White House nearly a generation ago? Cmon guys. Time to tell these people to grow the **** up. We the normal people of our society, need to start telling these grown children to grow up.

Btw I’m a liberal in Utah. Think I don’t feel ignored all the time by my politicians? Think liberals across this state don’t feel represented? I mean, districts have been gerrymandered big time and our senators right now are Romney (gop presidential candidate 2012) and right wing troll Mike Lee. Why can’t my behavior be excused? Can I storm the capitol? Why aren’t we allowed to hold our democracy for ransom? We’re the forgotten man! How do we think liberals in Texas feel? How do we think conservative non-MAGAs in Los Angeles feel? We all can’t be a nation of victims who are empowered and excused to do awful things to our fellow American and country, right? I literally said that bucknutz is better than me a few days ago. (Paraphrased). I was calling him out for saying that there are no good conservatives on this site.

I have also called out thriller other times (he is way too partisan) and argued with him many times (had a recent multiple post argument with him where I was defending Trump's handling of the pandemic)

Just an observation. A few weeks ago, our resident Saint @LogGrad98 reminded us to put the trolls on ignore and don’t read their posts, no matter how tempting. I’ve done that and this board has dramatically improved since. Trolls don’t want to actually discuss anything. They just want to bitch and gain attention. Maybe some of our trolls are just angry that they’re not getting the engagement they used to get? Just an observation. Thank you @LogGrad98 for dramatically improving my life.

Na, work just got really busy for me and my attentions had to be focused in that direction. I'm still here. I thought the wondering where the sane conservatives are was funny. I think it funnier still that I get blamed. If you want to blame me for a lack of parents of trans kids in the forums, I'll take the hit, but blaming me for a lack of sane conservatives is ridiculous.
