I see someone mentioned Florida’s Governor DeSantis. Makes me wonder if DeSantis will allow the words “climate change” to appear in Florida legal documents, again, someday soon? After all, we can be certain man made warming has made the Gulf waters warm enough to see two hurricanes, back to back, blow up into Cat 5 monsters.
I mean, it looks like the climate scientists were correct, and, at the same time, it looks like the governor of Florida is truly AN IDIOT. I wonder if he feels like the moron he is now shown to be??

Just saw a commentator on CNN apologize to a professor of meteorology, and ask: “sorry, but it’s a sign of our times, is it even possible for human beings to create a Cat 5 hurricane?” His answer was “if so, it’s something I never learned in grad school”. I just realized his “if so” left the door open for the Right wing conspiracy brigade, lol. They’re bound to come knocking. Really need to be careful with words these days. On a serious note, the decision by DeSantis to ban the term “climate change” says so much about one component or issue in the culture wars, attitudes toward climate science, as seen from the Right, like few other examples could illustrate as transparently, or as effectively. I guess in a Post Truth landscape, lies can take the place of facts, and facts can be banned.
